Test Analyst

Emagine is seeking and experienced Test Analyst for our client, the world's leading Travel Software Company. The client has a complex billing system and their Billing team collect business requirements, deliver automated solutions and run month-end billing activities. This role is to assist in the provision of a high quality testing service.

This will include:
Reviewing test scenarios for new and amended solutions.
Reviewing requirements for testing of fixes delivered to resolve PTRs.
Create test plans for new solutions and software fixes.
Create and maintain test data and execute tests in accordance with test plans.
Maintain a catalogue of test scenarios, test data and executable test.
Maintain the test environment.
Keep up to date with and conduct research into test tools and testing techniques and help to build a knowledge base for the team.
Advise on the pros and cons of a range of test tools.
Contribute to the development of best practices for the testing function.

Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5 years testing experience with demonstrable evidence of testing major IT initiatives
Experience as a tester in a test team as well as the ability to perform end to end system tests in isolation
A broad experience with a variety of testing tools such as Quality Center The ability to devise detailed test plans based on high level test scenarios
Knowledge of the IT and Travel industry
Basic knowledge of Unix
The ability to edit data files and execute scripts
SAP knowledge would be a plus
University degree
