Test Analyst

An opportunity has arisen for a Test Analyst in the Government sector. This is a 6 month contract, with the prospect of further extension. With a great environment and CBD location, this is a fantastic role to further your skills. You will need to have at least 3 years of experience as a Test Analyst and comprehensive knowledge and experience testing at all levels of the SDLC

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO POSSESS THE ABILITY TO:

- Apply structured analysis techniques to find application errors and infrastructure problems
- Create test plans when given directives from the business and technical teams
- Create and execute test scripts and raise defects and issues
- Create status and sign off reports to reflect the progress of the testing
- Undertake functional, non-functional testing at all levels of the SDLC
- Develop and deliver regression test suites via Quality Centre
- Work well with both internal and external stakeholders
- Work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- Work with the development team to resolve issues
- Gather and document functional and non-functional business requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- 3 years experience in Testing
- Experience in testing at all levels of the SDLC
- Standout organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
- Creative and analytical problem solving skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
