Test Analyst

As the Test Analyst, test the enhancements to a Database.

This agency develops and provides advice on strategies, policies, procedures and programs for information technology services provided by the branch.

The IT infrastructure is based predominantly on Intel hardware and Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems over a Cisco based network.

RESPONSIBILITIES:- - Creating test cases
- Setting up test data
- Performing test execution
- Managing defect resolution
- Planning and testing of a significant data migration exercise.

SKILLS:- - Develop and deliver applications testing services within agreed time, cost and quality expectations.
- Developing detailed test plans and test cases from business process models and systems designs and providing status reporting against test plans for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Judgment, flexibility, agility, responsiveness and demonstrated high performance in problem solving and ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes for business customers.
- Highly effective communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Develop and maintain documentation for a range of business and technical audiences and negotiate priorities across competing demand for testing services.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to plan and develop specifications for performing data migration activities.

Relevant knowledge and experience in providing services to support IT for a large organisation.

NV1 Security clearance highly regarded.
