Test Analyst

Our client has an urgent need for Test Analysts in their Canberra Office. The Test Analysts will be responsible for development of test plans, test scenarios, Scripting and execution of functional test scripts as well as integration testing.

The Specified Personnel WILL be required to:

- Create Test Plans from documentation and meetings with technical and Business staff.
- Identify and document functional and integration testing requirements and write scenarios and scripts to cover that functionality.
- Identify data requirements to satisfy functional test scripts and create, manipulate and maintain test data.
- Execute test scripts and raise defects and issues.
- Create Signoff Reports reflecting the results of testing.
- Provide status reports indicating the progress of testing tasks.
- Participate in the development and delivery of regression test suites via Quality Centre (or demonstrate the ability to learn QC).
- Participate in Quality Assurance reviews and undertake recommended outcomes.
- Acquire a level of technical understanding to ensure testing is comprehensive and relevant for each technical change or enhancement.
- Analyse data, application errors, and general environmental/infrastructure problems found in extracted test data.
- Coach and guide less experienced staff and actively support team training

Successful candidates MUST be available to commence the services immediately upon confirmation of an in-confidence clearance preferably by mid-January. Ideally Candidates will have some form of clearance already in place. The contract will initially be for 6 months with possible extension options.

The rate for this role will be up to $70 per hour depending on skills and experience.
