THE OPPORTUNITY

My client is seeking multiple exceptional Test Analysts for their Program team which will see you responsible for software testing of the Editorial Production System and impacts on downstream publishing channels.

You will be required to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to support the testing of configured applications and as well as application testing of support systems. The Test Analyst will work closely with our development team and the business to ensure that the testing is focused on meeting both customer and the business requirements.

THE CANDIDATE

Apart from strong results and process orientation, your other strengths include your ability to work independently and within a team (especially cross-functional teams). You'll possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written and you're admired for your creative problem solving skills and can do' mentality.

IN ADDITION THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BRING WITH THEM: - - Prior experience as a Test Analyst working highly complex technology based projects
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other IT related field
- Experience with commercial testing software tools,(Atlassian Jira and SpiraTest highly desirable)
- Experience testing in Client Server and web-based software
- Experience using Agile Methodology and Waterfall
- Experience with analysing requirements presented in a variety of form from functional specifications through to user stories.
- Experience in defining tests for Non-Functional Requirements
- Testing large packaged software application experience is essential
