Territory Manager - Corneal Optics

Immediately available. Territory Manager covering N England, Midlands and W Yorkshire.

You will be responsible for maximising direct and indirect sales of Corneal Optical product ranges across the defined sales territory, controlling costs and maximising the profitability of the territory.

You will influence a broad range of customers including opticians, fitters, buyers and associated staff ensuring great product availability achieving the widest possible geographic distribution.

This will include maintaining stock levels and negotiating on prices, promotions, features and displays.

In addition you will make effective use of marketing funds within a Practice Marketing programme tailoring personalised promotions.

You will manage your territory to ensure all prioritised accounts are called on regularly and plan structured calls including pre-call planning, in-call objectives, stock reviews and competitor activities.

You will also maintain appropriate records, produce a monthly report and regularly communicate and share market intelligence with the head office team.

Keeping your product knowledge up to date is also important as is current market knowledge and trade developments.

Adopting a flexible approach to working patterns and going the 'extra mile' to build customer loyalty and increase customer satisfaction will be a key feature.

You will ideally be a graduate, be an experienced sales person. Ideally in Pharmaceutical sales but FMCG sales experience may be considered.

An experienced negotiator, flexible in your approach and a skilled communicator. You will have great time management and an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of the Optical business is desirable.

You will have a full driving licence and will be located in the Leicester, Peterborough or Northampton postcode areas.
