Teradata v.13 Developer - Dublin - Contract - £300pd

My client is seeking an experience Teredata.v13 Developer who is available to commit to long term contract for our client in Dublin.

You will join a team of experienced Data Warehouse developers utilizing Teradata RDBMS expertise coupled with IBM OS/390 skills to deliver high quality information solutions to a wide range of business users.

This includes work on all phases of the software development life cycle including analysing customer requirements, developing functional and technical designing, building testing and implementing information solutions.

Responsibilities:

Investigating requirements
Producing specifications and designing
Developing and implementing Information solutions following the user development standards
Providing expertise in Database Design especially Relational Developing
Executing and documenting Unit and Integration tests to ensure code is delivered to specification
Supporting execution of System Testing
User Acceptance Testing

Skills:

Teradata v.13 RDBMS preferably or RDBMS (DB2, etc.)
Extensive SQL experience
Experience in IBM OS/390 and associated tools/technologies (TSO, JCL, etc.) is required.
Must be fully competent in interpreting requirements and designing, unit testing and developing robust information solutions
Solid experience of analysing, understanding and manipulating data.
Expertise in a software development life cycle
Delivery focussed whilst maintaining quality solutions and data integrity.
Understanding of OLAP beneficial preferably Hyperion Essbase
