Teradata Technical Specialist

- The Specified Personnel should have extensive and continuous Teradata Warehousin
- Minimum baseline security clearance required
- Experience working with V12 RDBMS and TTU12 or later

This is a NEW role and the Teradata Technical Specialist will individually or in cooperation with other technical specialists and under limited direction:

Undertake a range of complex technical and project-orientated tasks associated with support and development and tuning of physical models/datamarts and Data Warehouse Applications

Undertake a range of complex technical and project-orientated tasks associated with the analysis of DWH data holdings, and transaction accesses against these data holdings, to enable the configuration/optimisation of new technologies that enable cross DWH platform data processing.

The Specified Personnel should have EXTENSIVE and CONTINUOUS Teradata Warehousing experience working as a Teradata Developer, Systems Architect or Administrator, including working with V12 RDBMS and TTU12 or later.

Demonstrated understanding of and ability to implement DWH best practice

Experience in the following areas: 
Teradata Application Development 
Teradata SQL 
Teradata Infrastructure Design and Architecture

A good understanding or experience with:
Teradata Infrastructure Administration 
Teradata Infrastructure Implementation and Configuration
Sound understanding of Teradata security principles including a sound understanding of the types of authentication and access controls in host environments.
Expert technical expertise and understanding of the Teradata technical architecture, data warehouse operational environment, performance optimisation, data provisioning, ETL processing and reporting, packaging and deployment of Teradata Objects.
