Teradata IT Architect - Teradata RDBMS, FATCA, Datamodelling, SQL, Semantic Layer, Testing,
We are looking for a Teradata IT Architect for the FATCA Project for 7 months assignment in Stockholm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the enhancement of the Data Warehouse solution built as part of the bank wide solution to address the US FATCA Regulation and the OECD CRS Regulation.
- Enhance and maintain the Semantic Layer to meet the additional needs of the project.
- Coordinate with the Data Sourcing team so that the correct information is added to the database.
- Coordinate with the Business Requirements team so that the solution meets the business needs of the project.
- Coordinate with the CCE Application team to ensure that the solution meets the needs of the Application.
- Coordinate with the Operations team and the Architecture team of the Common Data Warehouse (CDW) to ensure that the solution is built in compliance with the standards and conventions of CDW.
Skills needed:
- Datamodelling - Must be able to design a Semantic Layer to meet the needs of the Business and data Requirements of the project.
- Performance Optimization - The Semantic Layer must be designed for performance in order to effectively meet the SLAs of the Application.
- Business Analysis - Must be able to interpret Business Requirements and turn them into a usable design given the information delivered in the lower layers of the Warehouse.
- Documentation - Ability to create/update the Entity Relationship Diagram.
- Ability to clearly and concisely document the enhancements made to the solution.
- Ability to convert business requirements into estimated user stories.
- Strong Presentation and Communication skills - Ability to communicate the technical solution to a non-technical audience and empower the offshore teams and Stockholm with your personal skills and effort.
- Leadership - Manage a team of Developers and Testers who will build and test the Semantic Layer solution that you design.
- To be successful as a solution architect with the project, you need to be the accountable driver of your own commitment.
- Commitment towards your team colleagues.
- Ability to be agile
Experience required:
- Experience with Teradata RDBMS.
- Experience with Erwin
- Experience with designing and maintaining a Semantic Layer Data Model.
- Experience leading teams
- Strong SQL skills
