Teradata Developer ( BTEQ, M-Load, T-PUMP)

Teradata Developer ( BTEQ, M-Load, T-PUMP) required for large project in Copenhagen for 3 to 6 months at a rate of circa £450.00 per day - Accommodation provided.

The consultant must have worked as a Teradata developer for minimum of seven years using BTEQ 6, M-Load and T-PUMP, multi load, fast load. Good experience in aggregation and Semantic layer.

Job Requirements:

*At least 7 years experience in Data Warehousing/BI with hands on expertise in Teradata
*Critical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
*Strong experience in designing and developing large scale and optimized Data Warehouses using Teradata and Informatica
*In-depth hands on experience in database, ETL/ELT/TELT design and development and should have excellent data analysis skills
*In-depth hands on experience in developing reporting and dashboard solutions on DW platform using multiple UI and reporting tools
*Experience in deploying solutions using version control systems like Subversion, Metadata Management, Enterprise data security architecture and Data Warehouse best practices
*Minimum of 7+ years strong NCR Teradata and SQL, UNIX, Data Warehouse Modeling, Teradata Utilities, Aggregates and building efficient views; other SQL and UNIX experience plus Teradata certification may be substituted for years of Teradata experience.
*Certification in Teradata and Teradata SQL preferred
* Use Teradata utilities fastload, multiload, tpump to load data
*Write BTEQ scripts to transform data
*Write Fastexport scripts to export data.
*Write, test and implement Teradata Fastload, Multiload and Bteq scripts, DML and DDL
*Construct Korn/Bash Shell driver routines (write, test and implement Unix Scripts)
*Write views based on user and/or reporting requirements
*Gather system design requirements, design and write system specifications
