TERADATA DEVELOPER
ITVantage is looking for Teradata developer for client based in Dublin for 6-12 months contract.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
1) Work as Independent contributor in the Projects/CR/Support Task assigned. It will be tasks ranging from small to bigger tasks.
2) Ensure all the SOX Documentation are in place, Remedy/Changeman are properly done
3) Work with testing team in giving the tasks for testing.
4) Might require Co-ordination with source team/End User/Testing Team
5) Sometimes Work as ITDM for project, which might involve
a) Ensuring all the SOX documentation are in place
b) Testing is done as per the requirements
c) All the Signoff are received and put in proper folders
d) Reviewing of codes/Remedy/DDL, Ensure its as per EDW Standard & Performance Issues are not there
e) Signoff as ITDM
6) Sometimes help with Production Issue Fixes
7) Work on Critical Tasks which might require thorough analysis.
8) Provide post implementation support
9) Good Analysis & Debugging skills
SKILLS REQUIRED
Primary Skills
1) Teradata - Good knowledge on TD utilities/Indexes/Performance Tuning
2) Good Understanding of Different types of project Environments/Tivoli Schedules
3) basic knowledge of Mainframe(Just used for Calling TD) but can be got trained on the job also
4) Knowledge on Remedy, this also can be got trained on the job
5) Knowledge on the SOX documentations, this also can be got trained on the job
