TERADATA DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER
6 MONTH CONTRACT with a competitive daily rate on offer.
SKILLS
- 6 years + Experience in TERADATA RDBMS preferably. Other RDBMS (DB2, etc.) is an alternative option.
- Experience in IBM OS/390 and associated tools/technologies (TSO, JCL, etc.) is required.
- Must be fully competent in interpreting requirements and designing, unit testing and developing robust information solutions
- Solid experience of analysing, understanding and manipulating data.
- Must have comprehensive expertise in a software development life cycle
ROLE
- This role will involve working on a team of experienced Data Warehouse developers utilising TERADATA RDBMS expertise.
- This includes work on all phases of the software development life cycle including analysing customer requirements, developing functional and technical specifications, designing, building testing and implementing information solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investigating requirements, producing specifications and designing, developing and implementing Information solutions following AIB development standards
- Providing expertise in Database Design especially Relational
- Developing, executing and documenting Unit and Integration tests to ensure code is delivered to specification.
- Supporting execution of System Testing and User Acceptance Testing including when necessary preparation of required environments.
- Implementing solutions to the live environment adhering strictly to standards.
