Temporary Telesales Advisor

Our client, an exciting and dynamic company based in Livingston, seeks to recruit a motivated, energetic and enthusiastic Telesales Advisor.

Starting on Monday 12/08/13, the successful applicant can expect to join a team that works to hard to meet tight deadlines in a customer focused environment, whilst still ensuring the work place remains fresh and fun for its staff.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 200 customers by building relationships, establishing needs and keeping in regular contact. You will work closely with the field sales operatives to ensure that sales to your existing customer base are maximised and custom maintained, up selling focus products and services when required.

This is a full time role (35 hours per week between the hours of 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday.) The role will be placed on a 6 month rolling temporary contract with a possibility of going permanent in the future (however there are no guarantees that this will be the case.)

The rate of pay for this role is £8.24 per hour + holiday pay.

Applicants must:

Have an energetic and dynamic personality
Have previous customer service experience
Have experience working to strict sales targets
Posses proven time management and organisational skills.

Job tasks:

Maintain regular contact with existing customer base (by phone) to keep in touch with business sales requirements.
Working with customers to ensure stock orders are up to date, predicting peaks when necessary.
Up selling promotional stock.
Work closely with field sales reps to maximise sales leads and opportunities.
