Responsibilities for this position include: · Supervise a union work force 24/7. · Produce, publish and refine employee work schedules for Department 420 and Central Pack. · Check the Production Schedule daily and make adjustments to the employee schedule to ensure that the proper number of employees is scheduled. · The Team Leader is trained in first aid and use of the AED should an employee become injured. · Set up, monitor, and ensure that inventory adjustments are made when repacking ware from one container to another. · Set up, monitor, and ensure that inventory adjustments are made when reinspection of held out ware is done. · Supervises the cleaning of the cullet bin and batch bins to include confined space permitting and monitoring. · Oversees forming, frost and packaging processes. · Initiates weekly SAP numbers for posting of goods produced into SAP. · Monitors reconciliation of goods produced and goods shipped to the warehouse. · Records plant production utilizing SAP. · Responsible for end of the month closing of production entries (SAP). · Manage off shift maintenance activities. · Acts in the absence of the storeroom clerks to issue out items from the storeroom. · Acts as payroll clerk to disseminate weekly payroll checks throughout the plant. · Briefs supervisors and managers Monday thru Friday at the morning meeting on production results and losses. Briefs on any issues, safety or facility, that occurred the day or weekend prior. · Participates in daily production planning. · Records fume scrubber pressures into Citect every shift. · Responsible for inventory audits and ordering of needed materials in Central Pack. · Conducts monthly safety training and audits of Central Pack, Department 420, Frost, Quality Department and the Warehouse. · Coordinates with payroll at St Marys, employees work hours that are not on the weekly work schedule. During off shifts, holidays and weekends the Team Leader is responsible for all facets of the factory, including but not limited to: o Employee safety o Environmental safeguards such as waste water treatment plant and the frost reclaim process o Meeting/exceeding production standards o Covering employee absences o Verifying and entering Certificates of Analysis for raw materials o Entering rail car and or truck numbers into the raw materials unloading system of those vehicles verified to be acceptable for unloading by their COA. o Enforcement of plant rules o Call in personnel on an as needed basis i.e., RM mechanics, millwrights, pipefitters, and finishing mechanics. o During periods of production loss, look at and analyze tools such as Citect to try to determine what the issues might be. Talk with group leaders to determine a plan of action and ensure that the proper personnel are in house to execute the plan. o Be prepared to brief the process Managers and Plant Manager (if 4 hours of production is lost) when process issues cause major losses in production. o Initiates accident reports (AIS) and follow up on off shifts. o During power outages, assumes the lead position to implement the fire watch procedure to protect the glass tank. Contacts department managers, Wellsboro Electric and anyone else that needs to be contacted or called in to assist. Qualifications

Position requires a balanced combination of formal education and demonstrated leadership skills of a technical workforce. Must be skilled at organizing, planning, trouble-shooting, and executing instructions with strong follow-up skills. Strong people skills are essential. Technical degree and/or experience is preferred.

This position is a temporary position lasting at least 3 months. The selected candidate will receive payroll through an agency.
