Temporary Schools Business Manager

My client a leading Primary School based on the London and Kent boarder is looking to recruit a temporary School Business Manager on a 9 to 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. This is a key position and you will report into the Headtacher, supporting the running of all non educational operations, supporting the educational team ensuring the smooth running of the school.

Key responsibilities will include the preparation of all financial information from Purchase ledger through to the account close off and preparation of financial statements, cashflow and management accounts. Whilst managing a member of staff you will ensure that all other finance and office duties are completed on time and that reconciliations, including general, control ledger through to bank and cash are complete, accurate and prepared to key deadlines.

Further responsibilities with include the preparation of of school information, facilities and ensuring the smooth running of non educational operations, supporting the senior management team and head teacher.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Schools Business Manager or have operated as a School Bursar and have ideally gained schools education experience with the ideal candidate having operated within a primary school environment.
