OSRAM Sylvania is looking for a Temporary Human Resource/Administrative Assistant to provide HR assistance support in a fast-paced Customer Service & Inside Sales Center and provide administration support as part of administration team for the center.

Lead the recruiting process, develop strategies for sourcing, interviewing, and selection of highly qualified and diverse candidates. Administer human resource policies and procedures in the areas of benefits, tuition reimbursement, safety, compliance and special projects in support of business objectives.

Provide administrative support including attendance and payroll, switchboard and security to building, catering, presentations, and back-up to administrative assistant.

This individual reports to the VP of Customer ServiceTracking recruiting costs, interviews and statistics; Job FairsCoordinate temporary/contract and interns. Understand and stay current on local labor market and trends, and explore opportunities with local Universities and Community Colleges. Drives the hiring process for 5-10 requisitions at a time. Must meet or exceed recruiting benchmarks including time to source and cost per hire. At the direction of the human resources, post jobs and screen candidates through the full life cycle recruiting process, working directly with Hiring Managers. Provides front-line support for applicant tracking system to hiring managers.

Administrative responsibilities - Process exemptprovide labor hour, overtime and attendance reports to management; as part of Administrative team for the center responsibilities include greeting visitors, monitoring doors and answering phones, processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, daily and monthly reporting, coordinating meetings and catering, creating/maintaining presentations and backup to Lead administrative assistant.

Employee Relations - Conduct new employee orientation; Conduct exit interviews; Produce turnover reporting; Interpret company policies and procedures with employees and supervisors.

Health and Wellness - Supports local onsite wellness initiatives, along with corporate wellness initiatives. Communicates and coordinates local wellness activities (healthier lifestyle competitions, weight loss programs, onsite fitness opportunities, etc.), and communicates company health benefits for employees.

Miscellaneous Projects as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:
Associates Degree in related field, BA/BS preferred.
Minimum 2 years related experience: RecruitingPayroll Processing(PeopleSoft); Knowledge of Applicant Tracking
Administrative Assistant Support; Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task
Team-Oriented; Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
