TEMPORARY/CONTRACT FACILITIES MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT WITH CAD EXPERIENCE- BIRMINGHAM

Rate: As per experience

THE COMPANY AND SITUATION:

A leading provider of healthcare development, investment and property services to the public healthcare sector requires an individual with both Facilities Management and CAD software experience to help them through a busy time. This role could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months. The position is based in Birmingham, but very mobile with the requirement to travel to client sites as necessary.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The essential experience required for this role is as follows:

- At least 2 years of experience in managing Facilities Management services
- FM experience must include experience of Hard FM/Hard Services
- An understanding of FM contracts from FM service provider to client: What are SLAs and KPIs?
- Client-facing experience: Previous experience liaising interpersonally with external clients, to the extent that you can accurately document client FM requirements in meetings.
- Strong IT. skills including MSOffice
- At least basic abilities with CAD software
- Driving licence and prepared to travel
- Confident and well-presented

Please note the above attributes are essential - you require all of the above to be eligible for this role.

Desirable, but not essential, are any of the following:

- Experience in CAD software, to the extent that you are capable of producing red line drawings for architecture/commercial buildings
- Do you understand floor plans and know what 1:50s are?

THE ROLE:

They need you to help them through a busy time, so this means a very varied role! Everything from internal admin to client meetings to document clients' requirements. Also data gathering, site inspections, reporting and some CAD work, producing red line drawings, floor plans and liaising with architects where appropriate.
