Temporary Accounting Assistant II

Research and expedite the resolution of payment disputes for a variety of reasons for customers in Sales Channel to minimize OSI's investment in Accounts Receivable and provide good customer service 2. Interface with Sales, Customer Service, Credit and our customers to assure timely and accurate invoicing, reduce disputes and make corrections when needed 3. Maintain the accuracy of pricing by ensuring that the PROMIS and myOPPS systems remain in sync with SAP. 4. Issue various credit memo adjustments to customers' accounts based on appropriate research and approvals 5. Test as necessary to ensure that enhancements and upgrades are successful. 6. Work on special projects as needed 7. Create and maintain desktop procedures Position Requirements: 1. Accurate and detail oriented 2. Good communication skills 3. Strong SAP and Excel skills 4. Good Impromptu and Powerplay skills 5. Able to work independently while assisting team in meeting goals and deadlines.

Qualifications
HS diploma required, plus minimum 5 years relevant experience. AS preferred General knowledge of basic accounting principles. This position is a temporary position lasting at least 3 months. The selected candidate will receive payroll through an agency. THERE IS A STRONG CHANCE OF THIS POSITION BECOMING PERMANENT.
