Over the last three years Essex County Council (ECC) has delivered over £300m of savings whilst working hard to improve services to our customers. ECC is now embarking upon the second phase of this transformation, which will see ECC complete the journey to become a commissioning-led, outcomes-based organisation.

An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Telephony SME within Essex County Council.

The successful candidate will deliver the telephony, call recording and WFM systems in to the Customer Service Centre. The systems you will install are Mitel telephony, RedBox call recording and either Mitel or TotalView WFM.

This is a critical role in the future of the Customer Service Centre, so you will need to show considerable experience (although not necessarily in the specific systems) of rolling out these kind of changes in the past and getting the systems implemented. You will also be responsible for planning the training, testing, roll-out and sign-off for each of the components.

This is one of many projects being delivered at the same time so there is a need to understand and be able to manage conflicting time constraints of both themselves and others.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE:

- Previously an experienced Customer Service Centre Manager/Director who has experience of implementing large scale change.
- Strong experience of working on similar Projects.
- Be able to work from director through to advisor levels.
- Be an excellent communicator and highly organised.
- Public sector experience (ideal but not essential).
