Telecoms Manager, Avaya Aura, UC, CC, Architect, Technical, Project Manager

An American organization based in Beijing require a Telecoms Manager, Avaya expertise to be based in Beijing and you must have experience within the APAC region. No restriction on nationalities.

This position's primary responsibility will be to manage their expanding retail, service center, and large office Avaya-based VOIP and call center services in the Asia-Pacific region, and assist the telco operations team as needed with day-to-day telco tasks at the HQ, factories, and colocation facilities.

The responsibilities of this position are:

- Manage all Avaya Operations activity supporting APAC unified communication  (UC) system. Among other things, this includes communicating MACD requests, coordinating system or circuit repair or other problem resolutions, and coordinating activity around turn up of service at new sites.
- Work with business groups to define auto attendants, workgroups, route points, or other call flow needs to support business operations in APAC, and communicate them to AOS; respond to other day-to-day requests for changes and follow up as needed.
- Work with APAC call center managers to ensure proper design and operation of contact center call flow, including routing and queuing; work with Avaya to implement contact center changes.
- Assist Retail IT team with ordering telco service and equipment at new stores, service centers, and office, and engage with new site staff to implement or maintain standardized call flow. Ensure new staff receive proper training on UC systems.
- Monitor telco systems and circuits as part of a proactive approach to maintaining high level of service. Escalate critical issues and manage problems through to resolution. Provide usage reports to management as requested.
- Troubleshoot telco performance issues, and research and document root cause analysis on outages or other problems as needed.
- Provide staff with technical support of Avaya communication and messaging software, and consult as needed. .
- Coordinate telephone circuit installation as needed and engage in turn-up activities with carriers.
- May require unscheduled after hours work. 25% travel required as necessary.

EXPERIENCE:

- Project Management, Technical expertise, Architecture experience managing an Avaya Aura Unified Communication Platform
- 2+ years experience managing an Avaya Aura Contact Center Infrastructure
- Experience with Avaya call reporting tools.
- Familiarity with SIP, TDM, VOIP protocols and QoS concepts
- Familiar with IP protocols and basic troubleshooting of network issues
