Telecommunications Technician Job

TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Responsible for installing, configuring, operating and maintaining audio/visual systems.
- Daily operation of audio/visual systems to include: video conferencing, projection, audio, video recording, playback and remote control devices.
- Responsible for planned and last-minute meeting set-up and configuration of AV equipment
- AV support, including offsite public facilities and events.
- Maintain, upgrade and track all AV equipment.
- Train/Consult with individual employees on AV solutions.
- Schedule, launch, and troubleshoot web conferencing applications, such as WebEx.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop video conferencing applications, such as Cisco Jabber and Microsoft Lync.
- Establish computer connections to the Corporate Ofc/Internet to upload and operate PowerPoint presentations.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Minimum two (2) years of experience in Cisco A/V industry required: including installing, configuring, operating and maintaining audio/visual systems.
- Experience with WebEx and other web conferencing applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
- Proven knowledge of operating, troubleshooting and maintenance of media equipment including audio, video, control devices, computers, TVs, monitoring and projection systems
