Telecommunications Technician

We are looking for an experienced telecommunications technician and installer for our new project in Sweden as a part of cleanup-troubleshooting team.

Candidates need to have several years of experience in installation and troubleshooting of BTS. Engagement starts around 20th of August and lasts at least 8 weeks. Afterwards, if candidates show good results it is possible to continue engagement in Norway on other projects for UBQ.

PRIMARY TASKS:

- Installation and swap of mobile base stations and MW links
- Inspecting and testing operation of telecommunications equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning (use of Site Master, TEMS, JDSU, Thales and similar tools)
- Diagnosing and locating equipment faults, and adjusting, replacing or repairing telecommunications equipment
- Installing, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment and systems
- Submitting project status reports, filling of check-lists, prepare As built documentation
- Performing other laboring and elementary tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS:

- High school degree in the field of electricity, electro-mechanics, telecommunications and similar
- Experience in managing telecommunications equipment of Mobile Operators
- Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems
- Work experience in Scandinavian countries is an advantage
- Fluency in English
- Driving license B category
- Independent and responsible person
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
