Telecommunications Engineer

We are seeking to engage a Telecommunications engineer on a contract basis with potential to extend. This role will be based in Queanbeyan and will be supporting the Regional Districts across NSW and Murrumbidgee including up to 80 Hospitals.

The Engineer will be based within the Telecommunications team reporting directly to the Data Comms Manager. If successful you will be responsible for decommissioning their PABX systems and will be required to develop a VOIP Strategy to assist with the implementation of VOIP to centralise all their systems across 80 hospitals.

SKILLS

Extensive experience in WAN/LAN/PABX support and implementation.

CCNA/CCNP qualification would be highly desirable

VOIP experience would be highly advantageous

TRAVEL

Some travel will be required from time to time in the region which will include Yass, Crookwell, Batemans Bay and East of the Highway.

If successful in this position you will be engaged on a non-ongoing basis for a period of 3 months initially with the option to extend.
