Telecommunications Construction Manager Job

TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA.

- Tower Owner Procedures (NTP)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Perform all aspects of the Site Development or Construction process from site walks and qualification through the completion of multiple sites.
- Coordinate with site acquisition management to ensure timely and accurate completion of required tasks, while reporting progress to the Project Manager/Team Leader.
- Manage A&E site design walks and other site/field visits with Zoning, Site Acquisition and A&E Departments as required.
- Maintain complete documentation related to all planning, communications, safety, quality and actions on sites.
- Prepare and completion of all necessary follow up photos, forms applications and supporting documentation including written site description, justifications, and as-built status of site construction.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Three to five (3-5) year managing civil and tower General Contractors building wireless cell sites
- Must have wireless construction background.
- Oversee construction services
- Basic understanding of overall Wireless Telecommunications (GSM and UMTS)
- Communicate clear directions to General Contractors per RFDS
- Must have site level scoping skill ability to read/understand an RFDS, create Scope of Work and communicate scope to General Contractor companies
- Must have advanced lines/antennas troubleshooting skills to assist alarm clear
- Consolidate construction reports and convey clear/accurate Reporting to Project Managers
