TELECOMMUNICATIONS ANALYST

SUMMARY:

The NA Telecommunications Coordinator will provide procurement and support services, build enhanced rapport, and assist North America end users with best mobility management practices and land-line support. This role will be responsible for following consistent implementation of monthly management techniques and strategies for all facets of the business including procurement, support, communication, end user training, and additional improvement opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide enterprise level support for North America end users via direct contact, phone, e-mail, IM and web portal
- Work with all levels of personnel from Executive Staff to Field Service Support to procure mobility devices and equipment, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve basic to complex technical and non-technical end user customer questions for all wireless mobility products
- Work with minimal supervision on advanced technical or unusual support problems, recognizing when to escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate channels. Exercise good judgment by involving management in resolving customer issues as necessary
- Provide basic to highly complex technical support to resolve wireless carrier activation/set up, configuration and usability questions for end users. Troubleshoot hardware and service problems and facilitate carrier support calls as necessary
- Provide billing and account related support. Complete service activations, warranties, cancellations and exception based services within established corporate guidelines
- Interface with third party invoice management and corporate AP establishing new service implementation to AP, tracking of payments
- Respond to customer/end user requests via e-mail, phone, IM or web portal in a timely manner
- Actively engage in continuous improvement recommending content, solutions or alternative processes that may improve the customer experience or our operational efficiencies
- Adhere to Telecommunications Operations Policies and Procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in ordering, plan adjustments, reporting and analysis with various Mobility Providers Platforms including but not limited to: AT&T Mobility Premier Business Solution portal, Verizon Enterprise Center Solution portal
- Knowledge of network operating systems
- Experience troubleshooting hardware including but not limited to: Wireless handheld products (Blackberry, IPhone, IPad, Droid) and laptop connect wireless devices
- Knowledge and understanding of telecommunications principles
- Working knowledge of provider network and standards platforms
- Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new trends and technologies
- Strong experience resolving wireless carrier technical issues preferred, including but not limited to: AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, etc.
- Knowledge of personal and corporate mobility network technologies
- Ability to estimate financial impact of Telecommunications alternatives
- Broad skills in mobile wireless technologies (mobile devices/browsers/gateways/portals)
- Demonstrated commitment for supporting business and IT ideals and strategies
- Ability to remain neutral toward technology, vendor and product choices, as well as to be more interested in results than personal preferences
- 1-3 years' experience in mobility analysis/management
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree
- 3-5 years' experience in telecom expense management
- Business and Enterprise wireless carrier products/services background highly desired
- Wireless carrier device ordering, activation, deployment and support experience highly preferred
- Previous experience with provider portals and preferable help desk ticketing software preferred
- Strong team player that is resilient in the pursuit of win-win solutions
- Strong communication skills with the next level of leadership within Infrastructure Operations and Relationship Management
- Ability to pull and analyze data for helping drive continual operational improvement
