TELECOMMUNICATIONS ANALYST

Provide on-lot telecommunications fulfillment services, implementation, and client support to ., its subsidiary organizations and partner companies for new construction, remodel, or relocation projects. Design cost effective communications systems based on information provided by various divisional and department heads/liaisons. Assist departments to maximize the use of telecommunications technology, including all phone services and voice mail configurations and connections.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conduct client review, assessment of project scope, data gathering and validation to prepare the project work order for telecom services. Participate in job walk through of facility/location to confirm requirements and timeframes for delivery.
2. Review floor plans with architects and designers to ensure that furniture plans provide access for conduits cable trays and for cable and equipment installation
3. Work with TPVs and engineers to design the telecom work order(s) within VeraSMART to ensure the PBX, voicemail, and associated features/options are ordered according to the agreed design.
4. Review telecom order and floor plan/configuration with client to finalize the work schedule, costs, and coordination of installation and testing of services.
5. Create and manage project budgets for all MIS/Telecom based upon the customer's requirements. Negotiate budgets between the customer and the entity controlling the project budget, eg Real Estate, Office Services, the department senior management, to ensure that there is a cost benefit for the cost of the equipment to be installed.
6. Prepare project installation instructions for the TPV PBX engineer and field technicians.
7. Perform implementation testing and ensure features/services are implemented according to the approved work order. Any revisions/changes are captured in writing and upon approval.
8. Schedule installation of various project components with various technical departments.
9. Provide hands-on training/instructions on phone features/use to customer management or staff, as requested.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Candidate must be able to work independently, be resourceful, organized, and have strong leadership skills.
2. Candidate will host meetings, collaborate, negotiate and deal professionally with varied groups of individuals both in person/on site and remotely. Professional demeanor is required.
3. Candidate must work on site in Burbank, CA. and be able to walk through the campus environment to meet clients and business partners1-2 years telecom analyst, customer service or service delivery experience in the telecommunications industry Financial background including experience in creating and managing project budgets is a plus
4. Voice telecommunications systems and technologies knowledge is required, (PBXs (NEC, other), voicemail, TDM, IPT, infrastructure, wiring, and Electronic Key systems). Experience working with automated order entry systems, voice mail administration, billing, and key sheet information systems.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Database software familiarities, such as Access, Sequel, etc. are beneficial. MS Project and Project management skills are a plus.

EDUCATION BACHELOR\'S DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED. ITIL V.3 CERTIFICATION DESIRED.
