Telecomm Provisioner

6 month contract with extension likely for a Telecomm Provisioner in the Cleveland area.

This resource will assist in the acquisition and termination of telecommunications lines to move two remote offices to VOIP technology. Responsible for the procurement, delivery, and documentation for all voice and data network services from national and local exchange carriers and service providers for all locations, including home-based employees. This role maintains relationships with telecommunications vendors and works with them to resolve network and service issues and/or customer needs. Analyzes and makes recommendations for network needs and requirements.

Overtime: straight time

The ideal candidate will:
1. Have minimum of five years of demonstrated experience working with nationwide telecommunications network providers in the procurement of telecommunications services.
2.Possess a broad range of industry knowledge and a strong working knowledge of various telecommunication and data carrier products across multiple carriers and Local Exchange Carriers (LECs).
3. Be able to place orders with local and national carriers for voice and data networks. Must understand the differences in LEC and carrier services/products.
4. Must possess strong project management skills. This person will coordinate service installations and activations, and works with others to ensure successful service installations.
5. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
6. Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology discipline with five to eight years of related work experience, which should include experience working with nationwide telecommunications networks.
