Telecom Technical Support Consultant

This project designs, develops, and certifies probe-based LTE performance monitoring system. This position is responsible for designing and testing new passive probe solutions to monitor performance and troubleshoot LTE network elements, devices, and services.

SKILLS:

Expert experience with Mobility protocols is required.

- Expert level LTE Experience is required.
- Must have expert level Mobility Performance Management experience.
- Must have at least a Masters degree in a technical field.
- Expertise with Wireline and wireless network protocols, eg, GTP, MAC, PHY, NAS, RRC, S1-MME, SIP, RTP, RTCP, RTCP-XR, etc. is required.
- Hands-on experience with existing tools, eg, Wireshark, Scripting tools, modelling tools, parsing tools, etc. is required.
- Expert experience with UMTS and LTE KPIs, their composition, where measurements come from, etc. is required.
- Intermediate skill with Unix is required.
- Expert experience with at least one existing probe solution (eg, Tektronix, JDSU, Netscout, etc) is desired.
- Should be responsible and detail-oriented and possess good written and oral communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
