The contract is with a consultancy in Brussels to be on an assignment at a large client based near Charleroi in Belgium.
Requirement is as follows:- Location:-
Assignment is based in Feluy ( near Charleroi). Ready to travel occasionally for short-term missions (Europe, US and Asia)
Scope:-
CiscoWorks LMS management (including maintenance and customization); Wan optimization management (based on Riverbed Steelheads and CMC); Firewalls and security management (based on Checkpoint appliances and Smartcenter); LAN management (upgrades, deployments based on Cisco Catalysts); Wireless deployments and management (based on Cisco technology and Cisco Prime Infrastructure); Network alerting and monitoring; Level 3 support in above mentioned fields.; Escalade new problems to suppliers' Support Team; Write procedures for support teams (Level 1 and Level 2); Update knowledge base; Participation to on-duty team schedule; Manage telecom related projects
Technical Skills:-
Cisco CCNA or equivalent (higher certification such as CCNP is a plus); Routing and switching, MPLS; IP telephony, wireless, Firewalls and security, WAN optimization; Firewalls technology (Checkpoint); Visioconference technology; Load balancing (F5); Network troubleshooting skills; Basic knowledge of Microsoft environment (AD, SCCM, DHCP, Exchange,); Remote access and VPN technologies
Competences :-
Ability to write and document solutions, processes and procedures (in English); Ability to present the solutions to a technical audience, and to do hands-on training sessions to architecture or operation teams; Project management skills; Fluent in English both writing and speaking; Fluent in French both writing and speaking.
Experience:-
Working experience in a structured enterprise (more than 4 years); Experience of at least 2 years in a similar task is an requirement; Stress resiliency, flexible time schedules, autonomy, commitment; Collaborative (interaction with other teams and customers); Knowledge of ITIL standards
