Telecom Specialist

Our client is the world's leading computer components manufacturer seeking a TELECOM SPECIALIST to design, develop and integrate Linux network stacks and modules. We're looking for someone with 5-10 years of relevant work experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Set up and configure blades, racks, Switches, install network adapters, OS, Kernel modules.
- Familiarity with wireless test equipment, traffic generators (eg Spirent, NG40) to generate workloads is required.
- Familiarity with virtualized environment for creation and configuration of VMs is required.
- Configure EPC functions (signalling, control stacks), provision subscriptions, set authentication policies, policy/charging functions.
- Develop automated scripts for telecom network market, traffic models.
- Perform system analysis (CPUs, BUS, memory, NIC) using specialized tools.
- Monitor network traffic, set protocol stack probes, perform protocol stack analysis.
- Develop scripts (Python, Ruby, Shell) for automated tests and XML Wireshark/pcap output captures.
- Knowledge of Telecom Networks will be preferred.
