Telecom Analyst

A direct Gwinnett County client, seeks a highly qualified individual to fill the role of Telecom Analyst.

LOCATION: LAWRENCEVILLE, GA DURATION: 9 MONTHS + PAY RATE: $35/HR.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Telecommunications Expense Analyst provides quality control services by performing audits and analysis on a broad range of telecommunications services to support telecommunications efficiency and identify cost savings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pays all county telecommunications bills. Performs audits and analytics on a wide range of telecommunications services. Obtains data from customer and telecom carriers. Analyzes contracts, inventories, and invoice details to identify cost savings. Identifies billing discrepancies, reviews trend analysis. Provides baseline savings summary data. Prepares & delivers audits, quarterly reports, monthly usage and general analysis on a timely basis. Files disputes and works with carriers and departments for resolution. Works with telecommunications vendors to resolve billing issues. Facilitation of audit and optimization results and savings strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: BA/BS degree (finance, business, mathematics or IT preferred), or the equivalent combination education and experience.

Experience and Training:

3-5 years' experience with financial and/or data analysis and reporting

Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of Telecommunications carriers billing, contracts, tariffs, services and fee structures

Understanding of network, usage and data structures

Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Access

Analytical aptitude

Ability to establish credibility, with respect to analysis and data findings

Ability to meet numerous deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Focused and Results oriented
