TELCO SUPPORT ENGINEER - LEADING CLIENT - IRELAND - 3 MONTHS - COMPETITIVE RATES
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling NOC operations for Fixed line core network
- Responsible for, Fault analysis, E2E troubleshooting/Configuration activities of core network
- Troubleshooting of unresolved Core Network faults escalated by L1 support team.
- Handling of fixed line Switching Nodes
- Troubleshooting services issues and Troubleshoot device related faults and resolve.
- Emergency handling & Corrective maintenance in the network.
- Software updates, Upgrades
- Defining and changing of all type of Switch related data like B-Number Analysis table, Route Parameters, Signalling routes,Augmentation of Routes, Forwarding analysis, Access Barring Data, Charging analysis, Routing Case Tables etc.
- New Features Implementation Handle escalated customer complaints
- Working with OEM/3rd party vendors for fault/problem resolution
- Guide Level 1 team best practices and technology aspects to improve their productivity
- Operational SLA monitoring
- Fault management, problem management, change management
- Provide trending and Root Cause Analysis
- Monitoring tools performance and providing inputs for improvement of the management platform to the relevant teams.
- Analysing the network performance reports and suggesting actions for improvement
- Carrying out the System load and Performance testing to achieve the benchmark of solution
Skills Required:
- Total 5+ years of experience in working with Tier 1 TEMs or fixed line service providers carrying out responsibilities in network operations out of which minimum three years into NOC environment
- Should have operation experience on fixed core Switch
- SHOULD HAVE ALU E10 OCB 283 OR ERICSSON AXE 10 FIXEDSWITCH EXPERIENCE
- SHOULD HAVE GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF ALU CSN/CNE/CSE AND ERICSSON EMG
- Understanding of complete call flows of fixed line network
- Number Analysis, Routing concepts,Call related analysis
- Good working experience with fixed-line configurations, numbering plans, switch functions, signalling point code assignments
- Very good concepts in SS7 signalling
- Should have good understanding of services offered in fixed line network
- Should have good communication skills
EDUCATION:
- BE/B.Tech (EETC/CS)
- Awareness of ITIL framework
