Telco Service Assurance & OSS Provisioning Consultant

We are looking for a Telco Service Assurance & OSS provisioning Consultant for a 3 months assignment for our customer in Oslo, Norway.

Do you have Solid understanding within OSS, and will you be available for such a role?

SKILL SET

- Rich Hands On experience (20+ years)
- Telecom network & services, in consumer, enterprise and wholesale segments.
- End to end business processes design, requirement analysis & solution design for Service Assurance & OSS provisioning.
- Troubleshooting & Service Delivery of high volume copper & fiber products (such as GPON) & low volume enterprise (such as leased lines, VPN) products, Good knowledge of Dialog Scripts.
- Designing and improving customer experience journey
- OSS Systems (Fault Management, Performance Management, Trouble Ticketing, Network Inventory Management, Service Management, Problem Management, Service Order Management, Activation, GIS for Telco).
- Fixed (PSTN, GPON) Network inventory data migration
- state of the art Test tools for Copper and GPON services & their use in diagnosis of Network/service/customer faults.
- Geospatial solutions mapping copper & fibre cable infrastructure.
- Very good knowledge of business process framework e-ToM & ITIL,
- Measurement of Process KPIs and demonstrating business benefits.
- Exposure to a complex Bespoke, COTS mixed environment for a large Telco.
- Innovative solutions to Telco problems in Copper, GPON service delivery & operations including cable infrastructure.
- Teleco enterprise processes related cable migrations, repairs, infrastructure detection, applications supporting 3rd parties/contractors as part of operations and maintenance.

GOOD TO HAVE:

- Experience in the Nordic region
- Ability to Speak Norwegian
- Experience in COTS OSS products such as Netcool, Cramer, Comptel SRI

TASK TO BE CARRIED OUT

- Analyse the business operations of the customer including current pain points in areas of service assurance, Delivery and cable infrastructure for consumer, enterprise and wholesale business segments.
- Analyze the as-is business processes, identify gaps, recommend improvements, solutions to pain points and define to-be business processes
- Conduct workshops with customer Network & business Subject Matter Experts for the above.
- Translate workshops analysis into business process and requirements documentation.
- Provide support to define best in class IT solution design for the processes and requirements
- Define business KPIs and demonstrate quantitative improvement in business KPIs through the TO Be processes supported by IT Solution
