TELCO SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER/MVNO PROJECT MANAGER/MOBILE VIRTUAL NETWORK OPERATOR PM/MOLO PM
Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager, preferably from a Telco with MVNO background, looking for an opportunity to work in an exciting, fast paced new environment? Then Vantage Resources wants to hear from you.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
NORTH DUBLIN, 6 MONTHS CONTRACT
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our client has overall operational responsibility for the provision of services on an MVNE platform supporting a number of mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs). As a Telco Project Manager, your primary role is to deliver technology based projects into the operational service.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Implements the Mobile Telco solutions through the FPLC to handover to operational service and closure.
Delivers projects to the agreed scope, budget, schedule and performance criteria.
Deals with the details regarding costing and proposals for projects and manages the process from concept through project approval and initiation.
Delivers large and complex capacity and infrastructure upgrades to plan.
Ensures that the Operational Service and network quality is maintained whilst introducing new services and bring about timely resolution of any issues arising due to changes.
Rigorously manages third party deliverables, risks and dependencies to ensure responsibilities and project commitments are met.
Ensures that deliverables exceed the SLA agreements with the customer.
Identifies opportunities to increase revenue and margin alongside managing any changes to the
Accountable for managing and tracking the project costs and supporting Business Units in meeting payment milestones.
Builds and manages the relationship with key stakeholders
Defines the roles and responsibilities of the project team, forecasts and establishes the project team and ensures that each team member understands the task that is to be undertaken.
Ensures all project deliverables complies with company processes and standards.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
At least seven years' experience of successful delivery of large complex projects as a Project Manager and handover to operational service in a Mobile Telecoms/MVNO environment.
Mobile Telcoms Industry and Mobile Network Operations knowledge is essential.
Excellent knowledge of MVNO architecture (circuit core, packet core, BSS, Voicemail, SMSC, MMS and interrelationships is essential).
Programme management experience with an MVNE would be a distinct advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Great people motivation and management skills
Customer facing and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in delivering Mobile Telecom infrastructure projects and Datacentre rollout projects.
Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
Either Prince or PMI certifications are highly desirable.
