Technology Transfer manager required for a 12 month contract in Saudi Arabia with a global pharmaceutical company.

This position will be reporting to the Production Manager and will be responsible for managing and monitoring all activities related to Manufacturing & Primary Packaging area/lines, (Tablets, Capsules & POS) of the site, ensuring that all operations within that section are undertaken following the appropriate manufacturing & packaging instructions, relevant standard operating procedures, QMS requirements and required GMP standards, to comply with planned production schedules.

Key Accountabilities: (the main results the job holder is accountable for delivering)

* Lead and manage the products technical transfer to the site in co-operation with Client global team.
* Ensure that Manufacturingcomply with business objectives and local regulatory and client requirements
* Ensure all Manufacturing & Primary Packaging processes within the area are performed following the appropriate manufacturing & packaging instructions and relevant SOP's, and controlled within their validated parameters to maintain consistent and high product quality.
* Ensure all Manufacturing & Primary Packaging operations adhere to the planned schedule to achieve efficient, on-time delivery of primarily packs to the final packaging.
* Ensure that IPC test and start up checks are performed as required in accordance to the relevant BMI & BPI and standard operating procedures.
* To lead & supervise the Manufacturing & Primary Packaging team in terms of planning, staff allocation and technical support.
* Perform Manufacturing & Primary Packaging activities to the planned schedule to achieve efficiency, on-time delivery of bulk product to secondary packaging.
* Perform the cleaning activities of the Manufacturing & Primary Packaging equipment's thoroughly so ensure that there is no risk of cross contamination.
* Assist & Perform the identified equipment's verification and calibration before its due date and to ensure the equipment's used is within it calibration due date.
* Assist in reviewing with Logistics the supply plan and generate agreed production plan to ensure on time delivery of finished product to the Factory warehouse meeting the commercial supply plan and not to have any backlogs.
* Ensure that the operations are being executed within a RFT environment with a focus on preventing errors.
* Report to Production Manager any change to normal plan complement to ensure appropriate actions are being taken, in order to maintain production efficiency.
* Assist in reviewing with Logistics the supply plan and generate agreed production plan to ensure on time delivery of finished product to meet the commercial supply plan and not to have any backlogs.
* Actively participating in the Production initiatives to achieve the site goals.

Job Specific Technical/Functional/Professional Competencies:

* Bachelor/Master degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Production Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent.
* At least 4 - 7 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industries with relevant to manufacturing experience.
* Experience in manufacturing, understanding of the roles of staff, equipment and systems.
* Good in Computer skills (Microsoft office).
* Knowledge of production process in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Fluent in English.
