Technology Specialist

A Technology Specialist is responsible for ensuring the success of a team tasked with building, supporting and enhancing high-transaction volume of data, web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate must be results-oriented and has strong technical aptitude and can lead a small group of IT professionals by providing support and training in the future.

Responsibilities include:
Develop new functionality for existing applications, write new applications as directed and maintain existing code for mature applications
Participate in discussions to review and revise company operating procedure to ensure all development is accomplished in accordance with such guidelines
Assist in the documentation of all new and existing code
Depending on assigned work group, participate in weekly on-call rotation
Review of existing applications with senior developer or manager and recommend methods to improve efficiency and functionality
Perform all programming and development functions with care, skill and diligence in a manner consistent with, or above the current professional standards of the computer services industry
Unit testing on all development code and facilitate product delivery
Mentor, train and develop junior developers
Quality of work products delivered

5 years as a full time developer
