Please call me directly if you or someone you know is a good fit. 212-707-8501 Main Duties Ensure all demand from CIB WM: (corporate & investment banking & wealth management) Is accurately captured and processed within CIB WM specific thresholds and governance Is negotiated by virtual pursuit teams with appropriate representation from Category and Supplier Relationship Managers, Legal, CIB WM Technology and business contract owner Is processed within agreed Service Level agreement Is effectively tracked throughout the procurement life cycle and progress reported proactively to Stakeholders Work with CIB WM Team to deliver: CIB WM 'front office sourcing projects major sourcing projects specific to CIB WM Provide regular and accurate reporting of appropriate Management Information to Stakeholders, Head of SST, CIO BarCap , and to all SST teams Ensure all relevant audit and control requirements are addressed proactively Support Head of CIB WM Client Facing Technology Sourcing in establishing strategic direction for the wider team and leading own team accordingly Support and contribute to team building and team dynamics through personally demonstrating leadership and team attributes. Champion new ways of working with own team and wider community, ensuring new ways of working and cultural changes are embedded Person Requirements Degree + MCIPS (Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) Academic Degree CIPS qualification preferred 3-5 year experience in an IT environment Proven track record in sourcing and/or supplier management with specific evidence of developing supplier relationships to add value History of taking ownership and delivery Able to effectively lead and influence in Matrix organisation Seasoned individual who has worked in a similar position Capable of working globally Proven track record of driving change throughout the organization Must have strong IT vendor understanding, especially front office software Be a strategic thinker with a good broad grasp of business implications of category management Be a 'doer', be direct and diplomatic Excellent relationship building skills
