Our client, an important multinational company, is looking for his branch in Luxembourg for a
TECHNOLOGY EXPERT
TASKS:
- Provide expertise in the area of Weblogic Middleware solutions
- Carry out investigations of application issues both from technical and functional perspective
- Plan and execute deployments of J2EE modules (cooperation of efforts between development and data centre teams, performing compilations and packaging of j2ee modules)
- Provide expertise in the area of database technologies (SQL tuning, review and execution of data migration scripts, monitoring of the database performance, development of SQL based reports)
- Carry out investigations in case of system outages and coordinate actions to restore the normal operations
- Ensure maintenance and development of the monitoring tools (J2EE) and Unix Shell Scripts
- The working language is English. French is considered as advantage.
REQUIREMENTS:
THE CANDIDATES SHALL HAVE:
- The experience stated in the framework contract for the requested profile.
- Practical experience proving the capability to execute the tasks described in § 2.
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken, written) and if possible, of French (spoken, written).
- Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working.
- Proactive attitude, communicative (ie good listener) and customer-oriented.
- Good analytical skills
- Expert level knowledge in at least 3 areas enumerated below:
- J2EE (J2EE security, architecture of Java web based applications, application Servers, XML, JMS and web services technology etc.)
- Oracle DBMS, SQL, PL/SQL and performance tuning techniques
- Administration of Weblogic Middleware solutions (Application Servers, OSB )
- Development of UNIX Shell Scripts
- practical experience in development or maintenance of system interoperability based on SOA principles.
EXPERTISE:
- J2EE (7 years, at least 3 years as developer)
- Oracle Weblogic Server configuration/administration (3 years)
- Oracle Service Bus configuration/administration (2 years)
- Oracle DBMS (administration/SQL development) (3 years)
- Unix Shell Scripting (3 years)
Location:Luxembourg
