6-12 Contract position for a Technology Architect - Retail Banking

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

- Contribute to, design and/or develop an architecture framework including technology architecture strategy, policies, guiding principles' and standards to govern how technology solutions will be developed and implemented
- Primary subject matter expert with specialized knowledge related to architecture of multiple commercial and retail banking technology applications (including mobility)and/or lines of business
- Primary technology expert in the integration of services through FIS, FiServ, ACI, Wausau, and TSYS.
- Validate that the integration solution and integration designs utilize the integration architecture components appropriately
- Architectural specialist that works autonomously on highly complex and diverse projects/issues
- Work closely with the Application and Business Analysts to ensure all the solution integration needs are met (eg, application interfaces, business process integration, data integration, portals, business activity monitoring, trading partner management, integration architecture services, etc.)
- Work closely with the Business Analysts to define a coherent integration technical design, aligning to the conceptual and functional designs
- Ensure projects are compliant with technology architecture and design/operate processes to provide ongoing review of in-progress activity against technology architecture and development standards
- Apply knowledge of banking financial services and architecture to the maintenance and enhancement of the enterprise-wide and/or project specific architecture framework
- Apply industry/technical knowledge to provide solutions that increase business value to our clients
- Provide recommendations on value-added architectural improvements/enhancements
- Work with other Architects to ensure that all the components are integrated to meet objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 10 years. of development experience in Microsoft Technologies (.NET, SQL Server, SharePoint, etc.)
- Extensive experience in Retail Banking
- Expert level Architect experience which will allow the individual to accomplish the above described tasks in the Project Desc
