Technology Analyst (Secret Clearance)

Yoh has a contract to hire opportunity for a TECHNOLOGY ANALYST to join our client in Washington, DC.

POSSESSION OF AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Research and prepare technical briefings, generate white papers, and prepare recommendations in support of the new or existing systems and technical standards
- Present analysis and findings to Sr. Managers
- Participate in Integrated Project Teams providing Technical Architecture Subject Matter Expertise
- Support Enterprise Architects by participating in the development of artifacts

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Four (4) year degree in a technical field or discipline, Secret Clearance, and two (2) plus years in the following:
- Familiarity in systems and networking technology; performing assessments and designing solutions
- Experience specifying and evaluating technology requirements for proposed IT solutions
- Understands Network Management, Tools and Protocols (Configuration, IP Network Address Management, Performance Management)
- Understands data center infrastructure concepts (Virtualization, Storage and Content Delivery Networks, Cloud, CDM, Grid, SAN)
- Proficient working with MicroSoft Office Suite (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, etc.)
- Desired qualifications include 2+ years in the following:
- Experience working with DoD, DON, or government agency
- Experience with IBM - Rational System Architect or similar software
- Familiarity with voice, video, and app technologies (circuit, VoIP, SIP, etc.)
- Familiarity with wireless technologies standards and protocols (3GPP, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, antennas, amplifiers, base stations, propagation, interference, spectrum)
