Technicians/RMA (Return Materials Authorization) Job

RMA (RETURN MATERIALS AUTHORIZATION) TECHNICIANS needed for a one year CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Alisio Viejo, CA. OUR CLIENT NEEDS TWO (2) TECHNICIANS FOR THIS POSITION.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing ERP software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. The individual should also have a working knowledge of computers and be able to troubleshoot computer related problems

What You'll Be Doing:

- Routinely assembles and tests complex electrical/optical/mechanical sub systems and modules. Troubleshoots to the component level.
- Reviews procedures and assembly drawings to ascertain test specifications, objectives, test equipment and methods.
- Assists in problem identification at the integrated system level using knowledge of sub-system operational characteristics.
- Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design proposals for improving equipment performance or other factors, or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control.
- Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method.
- Assists manufacturing engineering in establishing or modifying assembly and test techniques, equipment design, and shop floor layout.
- Ability to read schematics, medical procedures, and three dimensional drawings.
- Redlines manufacturing documentation as needed for engineering change order revisions
- Provide appropriate documentation to sales/shipping/support/quality to complete the RMA process.
- Performs investigations and root cause analysis on returned items

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Electronics/Precision Mechanics and five to eight (5 - 8) years' related experience
- Experience in ISO related medical field.
- QSR (Quality Security Access) experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Electro-mechanical assembly skills
- Systems level knowledge, not just one specific discipline
- Electronics troubleshooting skills (O-scope, DMM, test equip)
- Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts
- Procedure writing, ECO writing
- ISO13485 and cGMP Experience
- Ability to get along with others
