THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:
- Perform routine repair activities on fire extinguisher equipment.
- Inspect and fault isolate returned materials.
- Perform required testing and maintain results as required.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Read and interpret drawing and procedures.
- Remove extinguishing agents from fire extinguishers, disassemble, rework, test and otherwise complete assemblies for return to service.
- Perform hydrostatic testing per the requirements of 49 CFR on DOT specification pressure vessels
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with vehicle or aircraft fire extinguishers, mechanical skills, painting and welding experience.
