The Information Services End User Computing Team has a 6 month fixed term contract for a IS Porter. The successful candidate will fulfil service requests for new IT equipment and decommissioning of old equipment. This includes tasks such as; unboxing, imaging, configuring, asset tagging, maintaining the asset database, updating requests within the Service Desk call logging system, liaison/face-to-face contact with customers, delivery and collection of equipment.

The successful candidate must have previous experience of working in a busy IT department, have a good all round knowledge of hardware/software and awareness of SLA's/KPI's. You must have a clean driving licence and be prepared to drive to various parts of the County. You must be a self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision and have an enthusiasm for IT.

Any successful applicant to this post would be appointed on a fixed term contract.
