As a technician in the Technology Department (TE), Cryogenics Group (CRG), Controls and Electrical support section (CE), you will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for the design, construction, and commissioning of the electrical and process-control equipment dedicated to a new cryogenic test facility for superconducting magnets.

The activity ranges from the design to the commissioning phase of equipment, including the definition and coordination of projects. For more information ( te-dep.web.cern.ch/te-dep/structure/CRG/ )

In particular you will:

*Develop, construct, install and commission electrical and process control systems for cryogenic equipment.
*Participate to the coordination of the procurement, installation and commissioning activities
*Provide assistance in the preparation of market surveys, material procurement of cryogenic equipment
*Manage the corresponding technical documentation.

Qualification required

Higher technical diploma or higher administrative diploma in the field of electricity / industrial controls (or equivalent).

*Please note that preference will be given to candidates with the above-mentioned qualifications: In principle consideration will not be given to applications from people with higher qualifications.

Experience and competencies

The experience required for this post is:

*Demonstrated experience in the low and medium voltage electric and industrial control domains

The technical competencies required for this post are:

*Configuration and programming of PLC and fieldbus system / Programming of PLCs.
*Installation, maintenance & operation of Control systems.
*Electro-mechanical design: use of schematics design systems (see electrical for example).
*Installation & dismantling of electro-mechanical equipment.
*Maintenance & operation of electro-mechanical equipment: commissioning of electro-mechanical equipment.
