Technician

OVERVIEW:

- Collect, deliver, and archive test data consistently and accurately to provide documentation of events and status.
- Work in association with engineers and technicians, to perform mechanical and environmental testing/evaluation on consumer product.
- Participate in the planning and coordination of tasks.
- Schedule, arrange and perform preventative maintenance downtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Set up, adjust and operate testing equipment as directed, or by following a defined procedure.
- Monitor equipment performance, tests progress, troubleshoot and diagnose typical problems with processes and equipment under direction, or following documented methods or procedure.
- Validate test parameters, equipment calibration, identify and document failures, adjust and repair equipment.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Technical Associates Degree in engineering or knowledge of engineering theory as it relates to Vibration, Shock, Drop, Tumble, Tensile, Fatigue, Compression, Water, Abrasion, Thermal, Dust, mechanical testing and associated fixtures or a Minimum of 1 to 2 years of job related experience.
- Candidate must be motivated organized individual with sound communication, computer skills and should be well versed in Microsoft Office tools.
