Technicial Service Representative Job

TECHNICAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Troy, MI.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide demonstrations on injection molding to customers and employees.
- Keep notes and provide detailed analysis of their findings after the demonstrations.
- Safely and effectively operate a variety of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- At least five (5) years of related injection molding processing experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of proper handling, processing and troubleshooting of thermoplastic engineered materials (PBT, PET, PA, PPA, POM)
- Must have demonstrated ability to safely operate equipment in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Attention to detail and proficient with computer systems like MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required
- Diverse skill set with above average mechanical ability.
- Must pass mechanical aptitude test to be considered for this position.
- Good interpersonal skills are required to be able to interface with many different researchers, sales representatives, technical support, and customers.
- Effective oral and written communication skills are necessary to communicate with internal and external customers.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Demonstrated scientific injection molding processing experience.
- Fundamental knowledge in handling and processing a wide variety of thermoplastic engineered materials is desired.
- Light machine repair a plus.
