A leading utilities firm located on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia requires a Technical Writer for a 12 month contract to work interstate to create and deliver process and procedural documentation.

This challenging role will see you create comprehensive &As is& and &To be& business process maps and subsequent work instruction booklets through effective communication with business and technical audiences.    

ON A DAILY BASIS YOU WILL:

- Liaise with business and analytical representatives to determine documentation requirements.
- Analyse, design and document business and functional requirements for current and future procedural and process documentation.
- Build an understanding of regulatory requirements impacting a retail (utilities) environment.
-  Manage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.    

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE: 

-  Demonstrated competency in producing high quality manuals and documenting procedures.
- Demonstrated competency in information technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to ask the right questions in support of providing the best solution.
- An understanding of best practice within the business analysis discipline including methodologies and frameworks.                 
- Knowledge/exposure of the energy utilities sector in a retail environment a bonus.
- Promap experience and working to ISO9001 standard would be seen as a bonus. 

An excellent daily rate is on offer for the successful candidate to relocated interstate.
