Technical Writer - SOP

3-6 month contract for a Sr. Technical writer with experience writing Federal regulated documents and SOP's.

Candidate should have:

5 + years strong writing and editing skills

Ability to work independently and be self-directed

Experience writing a variety of technical documents (reference, policies, standards, system, technical) (Must be able to supply samples)

Experience writing and editing standards-based documentation. Expert level knowledge of MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)

Degree in Technical Writing/Technical Editing, or related field preferred but must at least have high school diploma.

Desired Skills:

*Enterprise Architect exp

Ability to understand technical concepts as related to translating cyber security practices into policies and standards.

Experience developing and writing Enterprise Standards that are used to address laws and regulatory requirements such as Identity Theft Protection, SOX, FERC, NRC, NERC/CIP, and PCI-DSS.

Expert level experience using MS Office products including: Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint and Adobe PDF.

Comfortable working with subject matter experts in a project based environment

Experience working with RSA Archer Governance, Regulatory and Compliance (GRC) tool or other similar products.

Strong organization skills.

Strong team player.
