This role is for a Documentation Specialist is to produce user guide, FAQ, and training materials for a reporting product. The user guide is external client facing and should follow client guidelines. The Technical writer should have experience is developing user documentation for software products and reporting applications. Also have to contributed to building online help with HTML that can be deployed online

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create content for user guide and online help for reporting application
- Gain functional understanding of the reports descriptions, fields and create appropriate description
- Develop, review and gain approval for user documentation with subject matter experts for functional correctness and accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years customer service related experience required
- Experience developing user documentation for software products and reporting applications (specifically in Microstrategy)
- Expert knowledge of computer software, such as Adobe, HTML
- Expert knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Expert knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods
- Expert knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
- Work sample required with resume
