Technical Writer (PT) Job

TECHNICAL WRITER (PT) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client in BOULDER, CO.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS

- Create and update Operation and Maintenance Manuals
- Create and update Quick Start Guides for internal and external end-users

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Investigate technical product changes
- Evaluate how changes need to be implemented into existing documentation

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Three to five years of technical writing experience
- Strong Adobe® FrameMaker® skills
- Experience with using style guide
- Experience with single source or content management systems
- Experience with instrumentation and manufacturing environment
- Experience creating and/or maintaining Operation Manuals
- Strong knowledge and/or training of technical writing composition and styles
- Ability to define, track, and report documentation tasks
- Ability to work positively within both product team and documentation team environments
- Experience or willingness to learn photo optimization using Adobe PhotoShop®
